Large round rug: striped panels that change direction

The Large round rug organizes its ivory background into several geometric zones. Fine grey-beige lines cross certain panels vertically, others horizontally. Nearly solid spaces separate these groups, creating a light rhythm within the circle.

Three diameters are available: 80, 100, and 120 cm. They correspond to radii of 40, 50, and 60 cm. This progression allows you to choose the scale of the stripes and the amount of the circle visible around a table, an armchair, or a small seating group.

  • Ivory background: a luminous base highlights the fine lines.
  • Contrasting panels: each group of stripes follows a different direction.
  • Airy geometry: wide light areas let the pattern breathe.
  • Three diameters: 80, 100, and 120 cm to modulate the presence of the circle.

Drawing the circle with precision

Mark the center point then measure the radius in eight directions. Connect the marks to visualize the full outline. Then place the table or armchair back within the template to observe how many striped panels will remain visible.

Adding directions to the template

Draw a vertical group and a horizontal group within the traced circle. You will better evaluate the graphic presence of the pattern from your main viewpoint.

Diameter Radius Design reading Possible composition
80 cm 40 cm Concentrated panels Accent near an armchair
100 cm 50 cm Balanced directions Small table
120 cm 60 cm Developed stripes Relaxation corner
Free rotation Full circle Adjustable axes Adaptation to furniture

Composing a light and natural palette

Off-white and pearl grey extend the stripes. Blond wood warms up the ivory, while walnut or cognac create a deeper contrast. A black table with fine lines can emphasize the geometry without weighing down the circle.

Sage green and misty blue provide soft accents. Terracotta adds more warmth. Choose only one secondary color and keep large textiles solid so that the changes in direction remain easy to distinguish.

Orienting a panel toward the sofa

Rotate the circle so that a group of lines leads the gaze toward the main piece of furniture or toward a window.

The marker that maintains variety

Keep at least three panels with different orientations visible. This ensures the graphic construction remains complete around the table.

Creating a dialogue between circle and lines

The Large round rug combines a supple silhouette with very straight axes. A circular table extends the outline, while a square top responds to the panels. A slight shift of the furniture reveals more of the ivory zones and avoids hiding all the intersections.

Near an armchair, place the seat on the periphery and leave the center visible. With a small table, choose the panel you wish to keep in the foreground. The 120 cm diameter gives more space to the alternations and can connect two seats around a common point.

The design offers several possible orientations. Vertical lines in the axis of the entrance accentuate depth. Transverse stripes give more width. Observe the circle from the sofa and then from the door before selecting the rotation that best balances the room.

Before deciding, also take a photo of the template from your usual position. This fixed view helps to compare the three diameters, the amount of floor that remains visible, and the balance between the round shape and the angles of the furniture.

To build a coherent composition, repeat the ivory on a large seat, the grey on a small textile, and the beige on a wooden piece of furniture. These simple echoes extend the three levels of the rug without reproducing the stripes.

Two atmospheres around the lines

Luminous nature

Pair the circle with light oak, an ecru sofa, and a few touches of sage green.

Warm graphic style

Add a black table, a cognac armchair, and a slate blue detail to reinforce the panels.

Available sizes are 80, 100, and 120 cm.

Measure 60 cm from the center in several directions.

Panels of fine vertical or horizontal stripes alternate with ivory zones.

Direct a group toward the sofa or the depth of the room.

A round table extends the circle and a square shape responds to the panels.

Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the most common questions we get asked. If you cannot find what you are looking for, do not hesitate to contact us.

How do I choose the size of my rug?

The size of your rug depends on the room and the layout of your furniture. For a living room, for example, a large rug under which all the furniture fits gives a feeling of space. A smaller rug can define a space, such as a conversation area.

Do the photos online reflect the actual color of the rug?

We do our best to make colors as accurate as possible. However, shades may vary depending on screens and brightness settings.

How do I maintain my rug?

Maintenance depends on the rug material . Generally, a vacuum cleaner without a rotating brush used regularly and occasional professional cleaning are recommended.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to many countries around the world. Shipping costs and times may vary depending on destination.

What is the return policy?

You have 14 days after receipt to return your rug if it does not suit you. Make sure it is in its original condition and see our "Return Policy" page for more details.

Are the rugs pet resistant?

Our rugs are durable, but their resistance to animals depends on the material. Some rugs are more suitable for homes with pets. See product description for more information.

How do you know if a rug is non-slip?

Most of our rugs have a detailed description that indicates whether the rug is non-slip or whether it is recommended to use a non-slip underlay.

Does your site offer custom-made rugs?

We offer a varied selection of sizes, but at this time we do not offer a bespoke service.

What are the forms of payment accepted ?

We accept most major credit cards, PayPal, and other online payment methods. Visit our “Payment Methods” page for more information.

How do I know if a rug is in stock?

The stock status is indicated on the page of each product. If a mat is out of stock, this will be clearly indicated.
